Texas State Tailgating Package

Tailgate Central is the official reserved tailgating area for Texas State University Bobcats home football games at UFCU Stadium in San Marcos.

It's a designated premium spot (or section of spots) where fans purchase reserved spaces in advance through Texas State Athletics — typically for the full season or per game. These spots allow larger setups, RVs in some cases, and are popular with serious tailgaters, donors, and groups who want guaranteed space right near the stadium.

• It's separate from general parking or free tailgating areas.
• Located close to the stadium (often referenced near the University Events Center and across from the Alumni Association's "Cats Corner").
• Spaces go on sale early and sell out fast — single-game Tailgate Central spots usually become available in August.

In short, if you're looking for the heart of the big, organized tailgates with tents, grills, and TVs, that's Tailgate Central. General fans and visiting teams usually end up in surrounding lots or public areas.

• Large groups requiring 10 or more spaces are required to purchase spaces online prior to game day.
• Maximum numbers of parking spots available for purchase is 16.
• Tailgates requesting larger than 16 parking spots for setup will be asked to tailgate in available green space areas. Please contact tailgating@txstate.edu.
• Starting the day before the game the maximum number of passes allowed for purchase will be four while supplies last.
• On game day no more than 4 parking spots can be purchased in any lots for tailgating while supplies last.
• Tailgate setups larger than 10 spots must setup the day prior to game day.
• The approximate tailgate area per ten spaces is 30' x 50' feet. 
• All spaces for your spot will be adjacent to each other.
• Spots are an additional $25 per spot.

Our TXST tailgating package comfortably host 20-40 guest.

-Turnkey Tailgate has partnered with local caterers to provide any game-day savvy option. We can also provide a TABC certified bartender to serve beverages. Per TXST rules. Only beer/seltzers are permitted, and you must have a non-alcoholic beverage option available as well. Please visit TXST's official website for up-to-date rules and policies. 

-You may also bring your own food and drinks to your tailgate setup. We will have a 110 quart cooler available for your convenience.
